I currently play in Unknown Subject, Where Victims Lie and A Sullen Day. In the past I've been part of Sotajumala, Aeon, Atakhama, Funeris Nocturnum, Serocs and Crippler. I've also done session work for Abyssal, Wintersun, Kataplexia and Vile.

History

I started playing drums at school in the fall of 1994 and got my first kit in the spring of 1995. Music and drumming have been the biggest things in my life ever since.

I'm mainly self-taught, but did take some lessons in the beginning and have done few sessions with Kai Hahto later on. I'm left-handed, but lead with my right side and have played open-handed since 2002 - it simply makes the most sense to me.

Gear

I currently use Yamaha Recording Custom, Sakae Almighty and Sonor Vintage drums; Paiste Rude, 2002 and 602 cymbals; Yamaha hardware, Vater sticks, Remo heads, ACD pedals and Roland TM-2 module.
